Mitte area of Berlin
If you want to really experience the true heart of Berlin at its very epicentre then Mitte is the place to stay. The central location ensures that a large amount of traffic passes through the area which attracts a great deal of activity and entertainment. The views are like something from a postcard, including the glorious Brandenburg Gate, whilst talented buskers create a full yet friendly atmosphere. The area is also great for history and museums.
Friedrichshain & Kreuzberg
For those visiting Berlin on a budget and wishing to enjoy the ample nightlife, the area of Friedrichshain & Kreuzberg is best place to stay.
