Pumpkins On Petunias festival

Pumpkins on Petunias is one of Berlin’s most popular autumn events and is sponsored in part by the BBA with funding and support provided by the BID. The BBA is a central association that attempts to bring together merchants and establishments all across Berlin in order to showcase the region. The event is usually held during the month of October.

Pumpkins on Petunias is an event which enables sellers and vendors of different varieties of fruits and vegetables to gather to sell their wares. Apart from the food sellers, there also several people who come forward to retail their items of art and craft. The event offers complete family fun with several local businesses coming forward to conduct contests and parades to improve the entertainment quotient of the event. For instance, one of the previous editions of the ‘Pumpkins on Petunias’ hosted a Tractor Parade and a fun Pumpkins On PetuniasPumpkin Extravaganza.

Several local businesses also join in the fun during the ‘Pumpkins On Petunias’ event. During the last edition the Winnefox Library System, a central body of public library systems in Wisconsin, conducted a ‘Taste Of Berlin’ session wherein people could sample the  local Berlin cuisine. The local Senior Citizen’s centre also actively participates in the Craft segments of the fair.
