Along with such prestigious events as the Oktoberfest in Munich and the London Beer Festival, the International Berlin Beer Festival is arguably one of the three most important festivals for beer lovers from around the world. The festival takes place in what is known as the longest beer garden in the world - the Karl Marx Allee and takes place at the height of summer, in the first weekend of the month of August. This annual event has definitely caught the attention of beer lovers everywhere over the years and continues to atttract Beer Festivalpeople from around the world.

There are over a million visitors from across the globe, who gear up to attend the International Berlin Beer Festival. The Karl Marx Allee is a street that is over a mile long and the entire stretch of this street is filled with different kinds of beer vendors who set up stalls. While most of the beer featured in the Berlin Beer Festival is brewed locally, there are many international brands and breweries that are also represented. Most of the international brews featured at the Berlin Beer Festival are from the UK, Belgium, Poland and the Czech Republic.

Apart from just beer, there are a lot of other stalls that sell food at the festival. In addition to this, there are many live bands and other acts that perform at the event to add to the festivities.
